Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and their Hamburg community knew that they would not return to the past. Ashley was 17 and never been with a man before, so they took it slow. The love was apparent from the first site. Andrew requested God, on New Year's Eve, just prior to the year's end, to grant him one more blessing for 2016. Andrew wanted Ashley to say yes. Ashley was looking for the wedding with a rustic, folk theme which reflected her as well as Andrew. In order to create the perfect wedding, they decided to take a little inspiration from the things they adore. Ashley lived in the 40-acre property that was chosen as the venue. Ashley was familiar with the entire region, exploring it, and had a game on the land. In addition, Andrew and Ashley were walking around the area many times when they began their relationship. The importance of personalization was that almost everything involved DIY from the groom and bride. Ashley created and painted many of the decorations, and Andrew and Ashley's dad designed the seating area and the ceremony arch. Ashley states, "Our wedding would not be the unforgettable experience that I've always imagined had Anna's stunning flowers hadn't been done." truly breathtaking.
